the Trees

A year long I made photographs
of the same branches
of the same trees
we can see from our window.
I did so
with the same lens
and the same camera
for a number of times a day,
without a plan.
I have watched the trees
for many years now
and noticed
that a tree is always the same,
yet ever-changing.
