Ger C. Bout passed away in May 2017.

After many experimental local and international projects in the realm of design, Ger continued to experiment. Now his focus was photography.

Even from his sickbed, he continued to plan his next exhibitions.

In 2018 “Beyond the Moon” was on view at Upominki in Rotterdam and also in Amsterdam as part of the Unseen Project. His work was once again on display in Rotterdam 2026 at Huis der Zotheid.
